Despite the recent changes in the Civil Procedure Rules and judgements encouraging Alternative Dispute Resolution, ADR as a means of sound, ethical, and lasting resolution has an ancient lineage. Settlements out of court have constituted the majority of case resolutions since the time of Westminster Hall. The practice was recommended by Jesus Christ himself. Interpose prvides a platform that can ease the path for those with disputes to 'Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him' (Matt 5:25) as the King James Version would have it.
